Weird thing, both my standing light and table lamp went out. I’ve replaced the halogen bulbs (twice.. and expensive) and checked the fuse, everything seems ok. What’s wrong here? They’re supposed to be straight forward equipments.

the lamp has a arrangeable neck (able to move to desired area). i brought the lamp down so the bulb is directly on top of the cage. after i installed this the turtle opened his sleeping eyes and popped his head out of the water and became active. will this work?
also…can i play with my little turtle? like can i takr him out and let him walk on my hands and on the floor and tables? of course i’ll wash my hands after but do i also have to clean the floor and table before i touch it???

I bought a table lamp from Hobby Lobby a wk ago. They only had one of the kid in stock. I have no info on the manufacturer and did not find it in Hobby Lobby’s online catalog. How do I find a matching one? Thank you!

This has been bugging me.

I have a table lamp that has four separate goosenecks, which means it has four bulbs. It can be turned on so that:

1) Only 1 bulb is on.
2) 2 bulbs are on.
3) 3 bulbs are on.
4) All 4 bulbs are on.

I thought I was saving energy if I only used the 1-bulb setting, but someone told me that the lamp will use the same amount no matter what setting it’s on.

That doesn’t sound right….

It says use B, but a C-7 lights and seems fine. Will I start a fire or some other catastrophe doing this? It’s a “fluted lilly” type deal, two bulbs, one per “blossom.” Any thoughts?

I bought these two adorable small lamps at Steinmart. They didn’t come with bulbs and I can’t find bulbs anywhere.

The lamp is beautiful that I wish to duplicate by making a mold and then cast more of the same but with special touchups and additions. I hope to make the mold from molding plaster then use slip, or some other medium to cast. Before firing I wish to trim the figures up a bit, for sharper relief. OR, is there another medium that’s carveable and possibly baked in a home oven? I really want to make the lamp as unbreakable as possible. Thanks for any and all inputs.

My wife had both lamps on and she heard the one start popping; she went out to see a bit of smoke coming from the lamp and quickly turned off the power. Turns out, when I removed the black and burnt bulb, that the bottom of the bulb burnt up and corroded the entire area where the bulb screws in. I removed this piece, and see that the electrical cord even burnt up about 2 inches down. This is a fairly new lamp and never had a problem in the past. Is there some type of kit to buy to replace these damaged pieces? How hard of a repair project is this? Thanks for any advice, as I am going to have to replace this asap or else…
